UK Freediver Sara Campbell cracks new world record to 90 metres

Deeperblue has just heard reports that Sara Campbell has produced a second world record of her own, this time in CWT, with a successful dive to 90 metres in the Blue Hole in Dahab.  The previous title-holder in this category was Mandy-Rae Cruikshank, of Canada. The Blue Hole is roughly 91 metres deep to the bottom.

Further confirmation of this is awaited, in the meantime the Deeperblue team would like to send a huge congratulations to Sara for her amazing attempt. Ms. Campbell has made a huge step in the history of British Freediving and no doubt has more surprises in store. Perhaps a handful of sand from the bottom of the hole?

She has also announced another attempt to 56 metres in CNF, and will see tomorrow if she can pull it off. We are all cheering for you Sara!
