Dive RAID International have announced that Paul Toomer has resigned from his position as vice president for product development at the agency.
According to a RAID statement:
“Citing personal reasons, Paul has also relinquished his general management duties with the company. He will, however, continue as a highly respected professional for RAID — as an ITT/Examiner — instructing at most levels of the RAID curriculum and promoting the RAID Way.”
Toomer announced in January that he had stepped down from his role as agency president to develop new courses and update the more than 120 programs the agency currently offers.
Sabatino Bianco, CEO of RAID’s management team, said in this week’s statement:
“Paul has served on the RAID board of directors since the DRI purchased the company in January 2022, and before that in various roles under previous ownership. During his time with us, especially in the past 18-months, he made many contributions to our success and growth, drawing on a wealth of experience gained over a long and successful career in the dive industry. On behalf of the board of directors, the management team, and our professional partners worldwide, I thank Paul sincerely for his dedication to the agency and wish him and his family all the best in the future.”
