Italian freediver Gianluca Genoni has completed a successful Variable Weight dive to 141m in Sharm-el-Sheikh, Egypt. He completed the 141m dive in 3min 10sec.
Genoni, 38, announced before the dive that this will be his last “official” dive of his career.
Whilst this record beats the previous record of 140m set by Venezulan Carlos Coste in September 2006, no official AIDA judges were present so the record cannot be ratified as an official World Record.
